Subliminal messages are an important part of the corporate structure.
Moving right along, I'm feeling a little anxious about the impending To-DO List, which in all reality should be completed over maybe the next MONTH if we're being ambitious. I have 12 days minus at least 4, maybe 5 for a "relaxing vacation" so that leaves me 7 or 8. Oh and then tomorrow night I have an event until like 10ish PM right after work, so that kinda kills the productivity monster a bit.
So here it is.
- Rip out the master bedroom ceiling*
- Rip out the dining room ceiling*
- Finish demolishing "things" in the kitchen*
- Remove ALL dry wall and demolition debris which is SO much. And no, we're not talking walk it out to the backyard and put it in the dumpster, we're talking condo here people. There are stairs and alleyways and dumpsters far away involved. Not easy, not quick*
- Clean the place - MOST concerned about getting all the dust out and the floors ready for furniture. And by ready, I just mean not filthy construction zone floors - not completed. (Managing expectation, be proud)*
- PACK EVERYTHING in the existing place. Let's be clear, not even ONE box has been packed unless of course it was never unloaded from the last move. (honesty is the best policy)*
- MOVE everything (I've never accomplished this in less than a week, honestly - there is just too much stuff)*
- Clean the old place so we can get our deposit back - shouldn't be too bad, but still takes time*
- Find warm clothes for the trip (I'm almost never comfortable and almost ALWAYS have an unsafely low body temperature, NC is getting COOOOL this time of year)
- Pack for vacation (I HATE PACKING and it always takes me way longer than it ever really should)
- Get as many outstanding projects at work done in the next 2 days as I can so as not to be interrupted every hour with a question OR at least leave them in a manageable state. Everything is currently in Jenn language, so it's a loftier task than you may originally think
*JM will be heavily involved in these tasks.
Those are the big things. Wish. Me. Luck. :)
