Why Friday couldn't get here fast enough and other short stories

(1) Work has been HELLACIOUS this week, very busy, very stressful, very intense. NEED a BRAIN break. 

(2) QT to work on the house which may I just say, while I may not have won very many of the battles so far, the tides are shifting and it looks like I mayyyy win the war! Holla! I won't get too emotionally attached to the idea, we are dealing with JM here and his mind changes like the weather.

(3) Dad's dumb (and by dumb I mean awesome if it's killing the cancer and not just making him feel awful) cancer pump comes off today hopefully for the last time and we can transition to a less intense treatment. 

(4) Last weekend before some relaxing time in the cool breezy mountains of North Carolina after a 14 hour drive which could be interesting for a variety of reasons.

(5) I'm psyching myself up to pretend like I'm going to be ambitious enough to proceed with caution towards the fall wreath I've been talking up. Neighbor Katherine has busted our her fall decorations and stepped up her game a bit.

I will combat her attempt at "creativity" with the below wreath.
