Food and Wineee 2012 - CHECK!

Weekend Wrap-up babbyyy. And oh what a weekend it was...

Friday was JM's birthday and also my first day back to work after the ATL trip. By back to work I mean having to get dressed and go to a grown up office and NOT work out of my hotel room or get to take the elevator down for a delicious Caramel Macchiato and banana bread...mmmmm.

Anyways - so we ALWAYS go to Texas Cattle Company for his birthday so that's where we were on Friday night. Took it easy since we needed to be up early the next day for FOOD AND WINEEE!!!

Woo hoo!! 

So we were there from about 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. - not an ounce of sun all day, overcast and breezy and busier than we'd EVER seen it. Borderline crazy town towards the end. 

I didn't get a picture of our first stop because I was so excited for a Dragon Berry Colada it was gone before I remembered I had an iPhone to take pictures of it. This is our second stop - HAWAII. Mai Tai and pork slider. Shameful but we had to pour the MaiTai out - GROSS. Back to the Dragon Berry Colada's it is!!

Did some Mary Poppins stalking, she's my absolute favorite. I took enough pictures of other people's children trying to capture my girl that I'm sure I was tagged by security at some point. Probably walked away JUST in time.

The one and only reason we were there, according to JM. Grey Goose Lemon Citron Slushies from France. SO good. No - we didn't have another two people with us, stop judging. 

One of JM's favorites - the Lobster Roll from the Hops & Barley tent. Ew.

Sister Hazel weekend!!! They are one of my absolute favorite bands but I was slightly disappointed in their show, they didn't tailor the playlist specifically to what I wanted to hear. I'm not looking for "new stuff" at Food & Wine, I'm looking for something to sing along to. Thanks. 

Yay fun! Oh and a lady bug landed on me - good luck foreverrrrr!!

Sunday we went to see Looper (LOVED IT) and then came home and JM did some work and I opened the windows, put on football and took the most amazing nap EVER. The weather is starting to cool down and it was LOVELY! I could use one of those right now!
