I did get to take Saturday off and travel back to the homeland to meet my nephew and spend time with the family.
He is SUCH a good baby, so cute and so quiet and so precious! I should have taken more pictures of Ayden, he was out of control and made me laugh all day. He's a mini me, I'm convinced. I'm a fan of my amazing photography skills and my ability to capture a toddler in front of his name - holla!
The other picture from this weekend that makes me laugh is JM and my brother - couch twins! Identical sitting position, identical khakis, identical polo shirt (minus the color), same glazed "I'm playing a game on my phone leave me alone" look on their face. Love it!
Anyways - awesome Saturday with the family and then back to moving on Sunday. First time EVER selling anything on Craigslist and dealing with that awkward interaction. Although it wasn't so bad, she was nice. I got $50 when I asked for $60 for a computer desk. The guys at work convinced me I wouldn't get more than $20 bucks for it - mmhmm. Wrong again boys.
Speaking of work, one aspect of my job as of late has included Skittles, Hobby Lobby AND curling ribbon - hello dream job! Good luck trying to get me to do real work again. :)
Anyways - not looking forward to tonight and "finishing up" at the old place. Always a nightmare and I've moved 6 trillion times, you'd think I'd be better at it by now. Noooppee.
However, trivia is back tomorrow night at our favorite watering hole so I'm pumped about that. We'd Like to Buy a Vowel is ready to win a bar tab and celebrate the end of MOVING and the beginning of 'we have way too much stuff and need to downsize like whoa' week. AMEN.
Ok - back to skittles and curling ribbon and LUNCH my favorite part of the work day.
oh my gosh your new nephew is so precious! congrats on his birth
