Let the demo begin...

Ok - being dramatic, so far so good. We actually "closed" last night and had the final walk through. Kind of exciting. Our Realtor/friend Jessica got us some housewarming stuff (alcohol) and some other goodies, so that was fun! 

JM and his friend Derek started rolling the carpet up so John can start chipping away at my nerves the old floor and getting that out of there in preparation of the bamboo. Anyone want to wager on how many days walking around on chipped up concrete floors it takes to go nutso. Or maybe how much tile dust in my FACE is TOO much?? :)

My bare feet dream of the day I can walk around on this beautiful bamboo. Only after a pretty intense pedicure from the concrete days...months...Lord help him.

In all honesty, pretty excited about what's to come and trying to stay positive - one day when the dust settles I'll get to do the fun decorating part. :)
