So JM after ONE day with the fridge wants to eat out because he thinks it will be quicker than cooking. So much to say if I were to diagram this sentence, but I'll forego and trust that we're all on the same page with that.
So - off to Chili's we go where it's a given that I will get big mouth bites and fries with a side of ranch. I'll also eat MOST of it. Well tonight, although it was a hectic few minutes with me, the menu and my fitness pal app - I decided to make a better decision. KIDS chicken breast and side of plain mashed potatoes with a side of broccoli. I felt like I found buried treasure,

#1 - I have negative will power
#2 - HOW do you say no to fries slathered in ranch and big mouth bites
#3 - dinner was DELICIOUS and I didn't feel like I had a clogged artery when I left
#4 - I was full
In other news...
- Started the plank challenge yesterday, wow.
- Started Aly's squat-a-thon this morning. I was telling JM how I'm probably going to start doing like 100 squats a day because it's easy. I did 30. Thank GOD I did it before my shower. This girl will be working up to 100...that's all I've got to say about that.
- Registered for the COLOR RUN in Orlando for January 13th - woo hoo!! Let's be clear, might as well call it the Color Walk but I've heard how much fun it is so I'm pretty excited.
Yay for good choices - these will probably be the only ones I make this month so I needed to document it.
I have made zero good food choices this month. Ask the pan of brownies that got demolished.

ReplyDeleteWell darling, you plank every day in December and record your time...REALLY exciting. However it's fun to see who else is doing it on Instagram, you can tag it and compare times. Who doesn't need a little core workout every now and then. :)
